Getting started

Once you've created your account, you'll land on your workspace's home page. Here you'll find the Getting started guide, which will take a couple of minutes and makes the platform work correctly.

Complete your workshop details

Go to your profile and fill in your contact details: name, email, phone country code and phone number. Then choose the channel you want us to notify you through.

The name you set is the one riders will see on every notification they receive from you, and the channel you choose is where we'll tell you that one of their bikes needs a service.

Important

Use your workshop's name, or the name your riders know you by, not necessarily your personal one.

Set your maintenance interval

On the same profile page you'll find your maintenance interval: what a bike can cover, in distance or in time depending on the metric you pick, before we flag it as due for maintenance.

It comes with a default value, but only you know how your customers ride and what your workshop's criteria are. The interval applies to every bike you maintain, and you can change it whenever you like — we'll recalculate what needs attention with the new figure. More details in Workshop preferences.

Invite your first rider

Riders can't sign up on their own: they join the platform through a workshop. Head to the invitations page, enter their details, and we'll take care of the rest — as soon as they accept, we'll sync their bikes and rides and start tracking wear.

The Register a rider guide walks through the whole flow, including what happens when the rider is already registered with another workshop.

Get to know your workspace (optional)

With those three steps done, sincrona is already working for you. When you want to go further, the Add a service and Notifications guides cover the day-to-day: logging the work you do on a bike and managing the alerts you receive.

I hid the checklist, how do I get it back?

The checklist is a shortcut, not a requirement — you can skip it at any point, and nothing is lost by doing so. Note that whether it's hidden is remembered per browser, so it may show up again on a different device or after clearing your browsing data. Either way, the steps above are always here, and every setting they mention lives in your profile.
